How do we book a motorhome or campervan?
Bookings are made online through our Book Online page, where you can check live availability and secure your vehicle with a 25% deposit.
Can I check availability online?
Yes. Our booking system shows live availability and pricing in real time, allowing you to choose your dates and vehicle instantly.
What is the minimum hire period?
Minimum hire depends on the season: Low season 4 days, Mid season 5 days, and High season 7 days. All bookings must meet the seasonal minimum.
Can I book for fewer than the minimum days?
No. All hires must meet the minimum rental period set for the season.
How far in advance should I book?
For regular trips, a few weeks is typically sufficient. For school holidays, summer travel, and festivals, we recommend booking several months in advance to avoid disappointment.
How much is the booking deposit and when is the balance due?
A 25% deposit secures your booking. The remaining balance and security bond are payable at collection.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept card payments only. Cash is not accepted.
Can I change or extend my booking?
Yes, subject to availability. Please contact our bookings team and we’ll be happy to assist with amendments or extensions.
Who can drive the motorhome?
Drivers must be aged 25–79, hold a full driving licence for at least two years, and meet our insurance criteria.
What licence do I need?
A standard UK Category B (car) licence is suitable for most of our vehicles.
Are motorhomes easy to drive?
Yes. Driving is similar to a large van. All vehicles include power steering and most feature reversing cameras to make manoeuvring straightforward.
Do I need experience driving large vehicles?
No previous motorhome experience is required. We provide a full virtual handover and guidance before departure.
Can I add additional drivers?
Yes. Additional drivers can be added for £7.50 per day. All drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements.
Can I hire with penalty points?
Yes, up to six points may be accepted. All points and convictions must be disclosed when booking and are subject to insurer approval.
Where is collection and return?
All vehicles are collected and returned to our Christchurch, Dorset depot. Free secure parking is available for customers during their hire.
What time is collection and return?
Collection is fixed at 14:00 and return is fixed at 10:30. These times cannot be adjusted for operational reasons.
How do handovers work?
We operate a streamlined virtual handover. You’ll receive clear instructions and guidance so you can get on the road quickly and confidently. Collection typically takes around 30 minutes.
Are you open at weekends?
Saturday collections operate at 14:00 only and the depot closes at 14:30. Depots are closed on Sundays.
What happens if I return late?
Late returns are charged at £75 per hour, as delays may affect the next customer’s booking. Please contact us as soon as possible if you expect to be late.
Can we travel anywhere in the UK?
Yes. You are free to travel throughout the UK with unlimited mileage included.
Can we take the motorhome to Europe?
Yes. European travel is available with prior notice and the appropriate travel package added to your booking.
Are festivals allowed?
Yes. Our vehicles are well suited to festivals and events. Early booking is recommended during peak season.
Can we bring pets?
Dogs are welcome for a small additional fee of £50 per dog. We allow a maximum of two dogs per vehicle. Please note that cats and other pets are not permitted.
Can we tow a trailer or car?
No. Towing is not permitted with our vehicles.
What happens if we break down?
All hires include 24/7 roadside assistance. Breakdown details are provided in the vehicle documentation and support is always available by phone.
Is support available while travelling?
Yes. We provide WhatsApp and phone support throughout your hire should you need assistance.
How long can we stay off-grid?
This depends on your usage. Most vehicles comfortably support short stays without electric hook-up using onboard batteries and LPG systems.
Do we need to clean the motorhome before returning?
Yes. Please return the vehicle clean and tidy, with the toilet cassette and waste water emptied. Additional cleaning charges may apply if this has not been completed.
What is the fuel policy?
Vehicles are supplied with fuel and must be returned full. Missing fuel will be charged along with an administration fee.
When is the security deposit returned?
Your security bond is typically released within 7–10 working days after the vehicle is returned in the same condition it was hired
